The SeaRose: Oregon's Best Getaway Value!
"It's a place to sit . . . to watch the water and the weather. To dream, rest, and refresh. To read by the fire or explore the garden. A place to breathe . . . renew your acquaintance with your family, your friends, your self."
That's how one person describes the SeaRose on its spacious hillside half-acre. It's for folks who don't need outlet malls or arcades on their getaways. It's a place to just kick back. No agenda except to maybe do nothing at all. There's an enchanting tree-filtered view of the ocean out to the west and a lush forest nature preserve uphill to the east. Somewhat secluded, the SeaRose magically becomes a world of its own. And it's all yours while you're there!

The SeaRose is located eighteen miles north of Florence and six miles south of Yachats, Oregon between mileposts 171 and 170. People love the area! For outdoor enthusiasts, there is great hiking, fishing and beachcombing nearby. There are sea lions at Strawberry Hill, just an easy 1.5 miles north. Breathtaking Cape Perpetua is eight minutes away by car. There are nice, informal restaurants and fun shops in Yachats.
The SeaRose is kick-back-comfortable and relaxing. The big picture windows allow a delightful tree-framed ocean view. The large decks provide scenic outdoor relaxation. There are expansive lawns for kids to play on and explore.
Also available are microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster and popcorn poppers. Previous guests often leave items like spices, sugar, cooking oil and so forth for other guests to use. Owners provide dish soap, cleaning supplies, dishtowels and trash bags.

We have lots of books, games, journals, and curiosities. There is a VCR/DVD player with lots of fun, old movies (sorry, no cable/TV reception in this area of the coast) as well as a stereo with CD player.
The TELEPHONE provides local out-going calls, and takes incoming calls. For long-distance, you may use your calling card.
WI-FI is now available for your needs. And of course, if you prefer our pre-tech version - just leave your laptop at home.

BEACH ACCESS and GROUNDS
Sea Rose Beach, known as a great place to find agates, is three to four minutes away on foot, down and across a wooded field.
We are located on the east side of Highway 101 with a privacy fence across the front to shield highway noise. From the house, you can see over it to the ocean.
The SeaRose is on a somewhat secluded park-like half acre with lots of beautiful trees and open space. The property's back perimeter is National Forest land (part of a Silver Spotted Butterfly Preserve) with many deer and elk trails. Various guests have reported seeing elk, deer, fox, raccoons, rabbits, and a huge variety of birds on our property and in the National Forest behind.
